If we were able to sit down for coffee today, I would go on and on about the hummingbirds.
The hummingbirds are very active right now.
They are everywhere.
Have you ever listened to a hummingbird?
It's amazing. It is a high pitched trill. Like a sweet little whistle and flutter all mixed into one.
This beautiful hummingbird kept me company for about twenty minutes.
Just what I needed.
I sat down in the middle of the sidewalk and just watched him.
Every time I moved, he would fly off.
But then, if I sat very still, he would come right back to his twig.
{I'm sure there is a lesson in there about getting startled easily or something? I'll work on that one for you.}
Have a great day!
Kate

Coffee Dates are the sweet creation of Alissa over at Rags to Stitches.
There are so many beautiful souls here in Blogland! I wish we lived down the street from each other and really could meet for coffee.
Thank you, Alissa for creating a space where we can meet and share coffee together.

Well I have my coffee, and I've sat down to visit and see what is happening in the world outside the classroom.

they are so amazing to watch. I haven't hung my feeders yet. I want my husband to hang them outside my kitchen window so I can see them wehn I am doing dishes and cleaning up.

I would gladly chat with you about hummingbirds!
We just had babies yesterday.
They are the *tiniest* things ever.
Miss you friend!
