On our walk today, let's go just a little further, ok?
This is our little green space in the neighborhood.
It is still pretty strange to me that everyone has rocks in their front yard instead of grass.
Some days I just need to feel the grass between my toes. Ya know?
Don't you just love the trees? How they have grown like this due to the wind?
Amazing.
Let's go on one more walk tomorrow!

I grew up in el paso and rock landscaping is the norm there too. When I moved to San Antonio all the grass, trees, and flowers were foreign to mee

Thanks so much for your beautiful walks this week, they make me smile. I too live in the dessert (Albuquerque) and still can't quite appreciate the rock landscaping instead of grass. Love your perspective and inspiring photography!!
